Legal Notice
Ownership, governance, privacy and the terms that apply to this site.
Publisher
This website is operated by Onakeio Systems Inc., a corporation governed by the Canada Business Corporations Act, from Kanesatake, Québec.
Nature of the content
The content is offered on an "as is" and informational basis only. It is not legal advice and no solicitor‑client, fiduciary, or other advisory relationship is formed by accessing or using this site or by downloading any template. Templates are general documents and may require adaptation; obtain independent legal advice before relying on them.
Personal information we collect
The contact form collects the name, email address and message you choose to give us. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the exchange. We do not sell it, rent it, or release it for advertising, and we ask for nothing beyond what a reply requires.
The form is delivered by our own server in Canada and sent directly to our mailbox. No third-party relay handles your message and it does not leave the country on the way to us. You may also write to us directly at info@onakeio.ca.
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as the request and our record-keeping obligations require, and destroy it afterwards.
Person in charge of the protection of personal information
Questions about this notice, requests to see or correct your information, and complaints can be addressed to the person in charge of the protection of personal information at the address below. We answer within 30 days.

Your rights
Québec law gives you the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to withdraw a consent you gave, and to ask that it be deleted. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may take the matter to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
Cookies and analytics
We may use Google Analytics and comparable services to collect and analyse usage trends. These services may rely on cookies, device identifiers, and IP address data. We do not intend to sell personal information. Limited disclosures may occur to service providers or as required by law. For more information, including how to manage cookies or opt out of certain analytics, please see our Privacy Policy.
Free templates and sample reports
The templates and sample reports offered on the Studies page are provided at no charge for the internal use of the organization that requests them. Tribal councils and technical-services organizations may pass them to their member communities. They may not be sold, and the Onakeio name and mark may not be removed from them.
The request form collects the name, organization and email address needed to send the link. We keep this information in Canada, use it to send the file and, only with your consent, to tell you about new templates and sample reports. Links expire after seven days.
The templates are business documents and general information, not legal, financial or engineering advice, and the sample reports describe fictional communities. Have independent counsel review anything you intend to sign.
Intellectual property
The text, photographs, mark and documents on this site belong to Onakeio Systems Inc. unless stated otherwise, and the mark and wordmark may not be reproduced without written permission. OCAP® is a registered trademark of the First Nations Information Governance Centre.
Accessibility
This site is built to follow WCAG 2.1 level AA: it can be operated by keyboard, focus is always visible, images carry text alternatives, and motion stops for anyone whose system asks for reduced motion. If any part of it is not reachable for you, write to info@onakeio.ca and we will correct it.
Hosting and governing law
This site is hosted in Canada. This notice, and any dispute arising from the use of this site, are governed by the laws applicable in Québec and Canada.
